With all of the upcoming celebrations we try to have a variety of furnishings and home accents to give your home a fresh new polished look! We try to have special surprise sales during each month to show our customers that they are appreciated!
If you need further assistance with decorating, Mary, the store owner is an interior designer. She has been in the business for over 29 years. If you need window treatments of any kind, Mary offers very competitive pricing with quality lines. She loves to help clients pull everything together. She calls it "putting the icing on the cake!" There's always new items in our shop that will add a cozy, elegant comfort to your home.
The shop is filled with unique merchandise to compliment your decor. We add new and beautiful art to our walls including originals every few months. We have many one of a kind decorations and gifts. Enjoy the scents of our candles - the Root Candle line and our diffusers by Hillhouse Naturals. Our newest Diffusers have a white porcelene top in the shape of the flower it's particular scent represents. They a beautiful accent to your counters or furnishings. Our customers compliment us on the wonderful aromas the minute they walk through the front door!
We even feature local artisans in our shop. One local artisan, Derrick, creates repurposed slabs of marble/stone or granite into Serving Slabs. You can serve appetizers both hot and cold on these hand chiseled pieces. We have sold many of these for gifts.
Custom lines like Highland House Furniture , are available and affordable! Come in to learn about the new program Mary is introducing with Highland House. You can choose from many styles of furniture and receive a savings up to 50% off if you participate in this special program! Mary will help you create a piece furniture that fits your own personal taste. We also sell furniture by Bramblewhich offers the distressed look on painted and stained pieces.
Upcoming Activities at Colours!
We have had many requests for Mary to teach a design class and we are planning on offering a four week class this summer! After being in the business of design for over 29 years, Mary has alot of wonderful info she can share with all. More details will be shared when they are available. If you'd like to participate in the class, come into the shop and write down your email address in our guest book and while you're in, take a peek at our new art and home decor. We also have alot of new lines of women's accessories, also. See you soon!
